Festo SME-1-LED-24-B (150851) Proximity Sensor
The Festo SME proximity sensors are used for non-contact position detection in Festo cylinder series type “A” but can also be used in other applications where a magnetic field is present. When a magnetic field (e.g., a permanent magnet on the cylinder’s piston) approaches, the sensor emits an electrical signal. The Festo SME-1-LED-24-B features an LED indicator that shows the switch state; the yellow LED lights up when activated. This sensor is reverse polarity protected. It can be mounted on a 6 mm Ø mounting rod, on a DUO rail, or on the cylinder’s mounting profile.
